Description
The detatched property was built in 1962 and is very solid and well-maintained. It was continually renovated and modernised. The bathrooms and kitchens are partly from the year of build, but in good condition. Depending on the new owners' taste they will have to be modernised. The house is currently split into 2 units, which could be used as holiday lets, but it is also easily possible to use the house as one large unit for bigger families. The rooms are bright and friendly, and most of them offer breathtaking views over the river and the old town of Zell with the vineyards in the background, which are spectacular in every season.
The elevated location in Zell-Merl is outside the flood area, very quiet and without through-traffic. There is much free space around the house, and the terraced garden offers sun all day round. On the Mosel balconies, you can relax and enjoy the views with a nice glass of locally grown wine. It is only a few minutes over the footbridge to the old town of Zell with many quaint shops, restaurants and wine bars, which invite you to browse and enjoy. Zell is one of the prettiest and most popular towns in the Mosel valley and has an excellent infrastructure with shopping centres, doctors, hospital, schools, swimming pool, various sports facilities and tourist attractions. The area is ideal as a base for trips to the sights of the Mosel valley and for cycle and walking tours to the surrounding hills and valleys. The vicinity of Frankfurt-Hahn airport (15 km) and an excellent road network guarantee easy access from and to all parts of Europe.
